The Adventure Continues

Our Story

We met 11 years ago through mutual friends (thx Mike and Sara), but it wasn't until our paths crossed again at Coachella Music & Arts Festival that our love truly sprouted. We became official over fish tacos in San Diego in 2015.

The years that followed were sprinkled with many concerts, adventures, and learning experiences that shaped who we are today (that'll happen when you spend over a third of your life together!).

Together at last

In August of 2021 Abbi moved to Flagstaff and we finally found ourselves under one roof permanently (with our favorite kitty Oakley). Not long after we embarked on our first Autobahn Adventure which allowed us the opportunity to travel throughout Europe and rack up once in a lifetime experiences for months at a time.

Making it official💍

When we started dating, Abbi said she didn't want to discuss marriage until 32 and Jared stayed strong with that plan 😉Jared proposed on December 2, 2023 in Spring Creek Canyon on the outskirts of Zion National Park.

Getting Here

By Plane

Flagstaff has a convenient airport (FLG) located just 15 minutes from our neighborhood / downtown / the wedding venue with direct flights from PHX, DFW, and LAX.

Direct flights from Denver are available into Prescott (PRC), about a 1.5hr drive (car rentals available).

You can fly in from just about anywhere into PHX and then rent a car or take a Groome shuttle  (2.5 hr drive).

By Train

Amtrak runs a train right to Flagstaff.

Good luck!

By Automobile

It’s not that far!

Where to Stay

Vacation Rental

There are lots of vacation rentals available, but they should be booked early as Flagstaff is a popular summer destination.

We recommend staying in Mountainaire if possible so you can walk to the venue!

Kachina Village and University Heights are also convenient options.

Hotel

Our favs:

High Country Motor Lodge

Bespoke Inn

Drury

Weatherford Hotel

RV

If you’ll be traveling in your RV we highly recommend Woody Mountain Campground or Basecamp. Both have full hookups available.

Avoid Black Barts 🙂
